Banner Cascade Project
This $41 million project will route some of the water from the Cascade Canal through a large raw water pipeline across Banner Mountain to two water treatment plants and irrigation water users in much of western Nevada County. It also includes treated water lines and fire hydrants in areas of Banner Mountain. Work began in June and good progress is being made. Completion is scheduled in late 2011.
